A civil servant falls down a long flight of stairs at city hall and is rushed to the hospital.
The injuries are serious, and he remains in a coma for several days.
Finally, one morning, he opens an eye.
The doctor rushes in and says:
“My friend, I have bad news and good news.”
The man weakly nods.
“First, the bad news. Because of the accident, you'll never be able to work again.”
The civil servant stares at him for a moment.
Then a huge smile spreads across his face.
“Well,” he says, “what's the good news?”
The doctor replies:
